As you heard E.C.C.O. is a partner of the ECHOES consortium, which has the mandate to design and implement the architecture of the future Cloud for the Heritage sector in Europe, and therefore an accurate and profound knowledge of the real needs of heritage professionals is necessary, and in our perspective the specific needs of the Conservator-restorer is crucial!
To this end, ECHOES has designed a survey to obtain an overview of your specific needs and expectations regarding digital tools, services, training, and community-building efforts the Cloud will have to deliver to you. All answers are good answers, including the « don’t know/don’t use »!
It is vital to guarantee that the ECHOES Consultation covers fully the European diversity in terms of territories and of heritage expertise. In this context, it is fundamental that the voice, needs, and challenges of the conservator-restorer are not forgotten in this consultation.
So, we are reaching out to you to answer the Consultation and spread this call to action amongst your members, colleagues and contacts in all fields of practice. The survey can be answered as an individual and as an institution or enterprise.
