Le projet GreenBOOK s’inscrit dans le cadre du programme Sorb’Rising (lauréat de l’appel à projets
Excellences de France 2030) de l’Agence nationale de la recherche (ANR), visant à renforcer la recherche
transdisciplinaire au sein de l’Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Financé par Sorb’Rising, le projet est
porté par l’Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
Le projet GreenBOOK vise au développement d’un cuir de synthèse éco responsable pour la restauration de
livres anciens, en s’appuyant sur la production et l’optimisation de nanocellulose microbienne (MNC). La
personne recrutée sera basée à Paris, au sein du Laboratoire HiCSA, et intégrera une équipe de partenaires
de recherche interdisciplinaire (CRC-CNRS, Columbia University, FIT New York).

The GreenBOOK project aims to develop an eco-friendly synthetic leather for the restoration of antique books, based on the production and optimisation of microbial nanocellulose (MNC).
